Day 6 June 26th

Another beautiful day in Ocracoke NC! Today we woke up to a nice storm that cooled down the island a bit. When the rain subsided we rented tandem and single kayaks to explore the outskirts of the island. We even found an old ship wreck and studied the floating parts. We cooked chili on board for lunch and then set aside time for reflection and relaxation. At dinner time we made the trek to the last beach access and tried to have a bonfire before being rained out. Instead we ordered pizza and watched White Squal, the movie that inspired the Jeanie B's adventures. We had an early night and rested up as best as possible!
