Day 9 June 29th

Ahoy there from the Pamlico Sound! This morning we woke up at 430am for the nautical sunrise and took shifts navigating out of the channel and into the open water. We spent all day sailing to Manteo, NC arriving in the channel around 6. We had a minor hiccup where the propeller sucked a crab pot onto its blades, which took about an hour to cut free! Once we docked we all hopped in cabs to go to Jockeys Ridge, the largest sand dune on the East coast! After playing in the sand for a while the group walked to Mulligans Raw Bar and Grille for some amazing food and laughs! We had a short night of telling ghost stories before the girls fell asleep on deck and in the Widows maker!
