Day 2 July 22

Last night we had a large storm blow through but we weathered it just fine and it rocked us back to sleep.  We woke up at 730 to breakfast sausage and cereal.  From there we begin our journey to Maneo through the pungo river to the pungo alligator river canal,  the canal was built in the 1920 and is part of the ICW. Knowing that we would be on the water late into the evening the boys decided to get an early start on dinner by making rice pudding for dessert and corn bread for the chili we would be having later. we ate as we crossed through the alligator river bridge into the albemarle sound where we would lay anchor out side of maneo.
