Today we woke up after sleeping in from our long days yesterday. We went down to the beach before lunch and restocked the boat. At 2 after picking up our new water pump we set out from Ocracoke, we had little wind so we hove to and went for a swim while dinner was prepared. For dinner we made clam chowder with our haul from portsmouth. During dinner a storm developed and we quickly got the sails down and then the kids roughed it out in the main cabin with sam while Chris and Charles guided us through the storm. We had a bit of sea sickness and lost a couple of unsecured things off the deck, but storm passed as quickly as it came and we are now heading to anchor near Belhaven.
