Today the the boys were broken up in to crews Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. Alpha crew woke up at 4 am to help the counselor get the boat off the Sea gull pier by 5 at which point they guided the boat out of the Neuse river into the Pamlico sound. Bravo took over at 8 to continue out journey toward Ocracoke island. At 12 Charlie crew took over and alpha crew prepared lunch. We arrived in Ocracoke by 4. during the journey the boys touched up the deck by chipping off flaking paint so the counselors could apply a fresh coat. During the way the boys caught some dinner for tomorrow. We enjoyed a dinner in the harbor and some free time around the dock. Every one is looking forward to kayaking tomorrow!
