Day 9 July 13

Today we started out the day with a visit to "Stack Em High Pancakes and so forth" for brunch in Kitty Hawk.  From there we headed to the North Carolina aquarium where the boys enjoyed getting some good info for our fishing trip tomorrow. they also found out how to avoid being eaten sharks! We then went on a dinosaur walk. After that we toured the Queen Elizabeth 2,  a historic square rig vessel from the 1500's. We also saw a working village from the 1600s where the boys learned about early wood working and blacksmithing used by the early settlers.  To work up our appetite,  we climbed the the hills of jockeys Ridge and finished up the day at Pamlico Jacks with an amazing dinner where we toasted the JB with a raw oyster on the half shell. Acres dinner we enjoyed  a corn hole tournament in the back field  and an ice cream at Dairy Queen.
